# BlueGo

> BlueGo is an eSIM marketplace for international travellers. We sell prepaid mobile data plans (eSIMs) for 190+ countries — from small GB packs to unlimited data — that activate instantly with a QR code, with no physical SIM card and no contract. BlueGo also offers Flight Protection, which automatically claims compensation for delayed or cancelled flights under EU Regulation EC 261.

## How an eSIM works
- An eSIM is a digital SIM built into modern phones (iPhone XS and newer, Google Pixel 3 and newer, recent Samsung Galaxy, and many others).
- You keep your normal SIM/number active for calls and texts while the eSIM provides mobile data abroad (dual SIM).
- Install the eSIM over Wi-Fi before travelling; data validity begins when it connects to a network at the destination.

## Data guidance (typical one-week trip)
- Light use (maps, messaging): about 1 GB.
- Moderate use (social media, browsing): 3–5 GB.
- Heavy use (streaming, frequent video calls): an unlimited-data plan.
